ABOUT US
RoomMatch is an online system for matching roommates within schools and organizations. It consists of an initial survey to find each student’s best match, chat and communication functions within the app, and a finalized digital confirmation of the chosen boarding arrangements. Students may then use resources such as compatibility, availability and a simple search to find their ideal roommate. From there, they can request a roommate or strike up a conversation. Once both parties come to a final agreement, the requested student can confirm the request, finalizing their decision and creating set arrangements without hassle or poor communication.

LOOKING AHEAD
For the future of this app, our company is thinking to expand into the public instead of being only available for schools and colleges. We would offer maps and price range features for people to choose their ideal settings. Besides providing a new price range feature, we would provide a forum so that first time renters could chat with other people to answer any questions they may have about living with a new person or people. These features will help us accommodate more users and provide better matches based on their ideal settings.
